Trail maps from
Redwood Hikes Press

Part of the Big Basin map (actual printed size of this area is 4.5 x 6")

Drawn from newly-acquired GPS data, Redwood Hikes maps offer the greatest level of detail of any redwood park trail map. The maps are designed for day hikers and are drawn at a large scale (1:25000 or 1:12500), focus on a small region, and are a managable size. Each map also includes photos, brief descriptions, and elevation profiles of popular hikes.

  • Most switchbacks and other trail features longer than 250 feet are shown.
  • Footbridges, memorial groves, and stairs are shown to help hikers better keep track of their location.
  • Trail distances are marked.
  • Full coverage of local roads (drawn from USGS data) to help hikers find the trailhead.
  • 17 x 22” unfolded, 8.5 x 3.67” folded, printed on 100 lb. coated paper.
  • $6.95 each.
